About Us

The Partnership Program (Partnership) is a regional initiative created and led by Haven Services—one of Southern California’s leading nonprofits in financial capability and housing counseling. Our mission has always been rooted in meeting people where they are, through a three-pronged approach of education, 1:1 counseling, and support services. As a trusted community-based organization for over 15 years, we have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of collaborative action in addressing the structural barriers faced by vulnerable populations.

Yet, as service providers, we also saw the challenges: nonprofits working in silos, duplication of efforts, missed funding opportunities, and barriers to authentic collaboration. The nonprofit ecosystem in Southern California—especially for small to mid-sized organizations—is both vibrant and fragmented. Partnership was created to bridge that gap.

Today, Partnership has grown into a year-round initiative that centers equity, access, and sustainability in three key areas:

Vision

We envision a collaborative and equitable social impact ecosystem where community-rooted organizations have the power, visibility, and resources needed to thrive and drive lasting change.

Mission

The Partnership Program connects and equips small and mid-sized nonprofits with equitable access to resources, partnerships, and year-round support that strengthen their capacity and impact.

History

Initially launched as a one-day event in 2024, the Partnership.LA Summit was conceived with one core purpose: to connect small, community-focused organizations with the institutions that hold power, influence, and resources—corporate partners, philanthropic foundations, and government agencies. The event exceeded expectations, sparking powerful collaborations and surfacing a clear, unmet demand for ongoing connection.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Partnership Program?

The Partnership Program is a collaborative network that connects nonprofits, businesses, funders, and community leaders to share resources, discover opportunities, and strengthen social impact in Los Angeles and surrounding areas.

Membership is open to nonprofits, foundations, government agencies, businesses with a social impact focus or interest, and community-based organizations. Whether you’re an executive director, development professional, or program officer, there’s a place for you.

Members gain access to the Partnership Market (opportunity exchange), curated networking sessions, regional summits, and a growing resource library designed to support collaboration and growth.

The core network is (and always will be) free to join. Some events or programs may have registration fees, but most resources and opportunities are accessible at no cost thanks to our amazing sponsors!

The Partnership Market is our opportunity hub, where members can post and browse partnership offers (such as shared resources, expertise, or co-hosting opportunities) and requests (such as volunteers, collaborators, or funding partners).

The Resource Library is a collection of tools, guides, and community-sourced recommendations to help organizations strengthen their capacity. Members can both access and contribute resources.

Regional Summits are in-person gatherings designed to bring together partners from across LA County to discuss pressing issues, spark collaborations, and amplify impact.

Simply submit your opportunity through our quick online form. Our team will publish it to the Partnership Market and include it in the weekly Partner Roundup.

Absolutely. Many of our strongest partnerships come from cross-sector collaboration, and businesses or funders are encouraged to share opportunities, sponsor programs, or connect directly with nonprofits.
