File4Free provides free, confidential tax preparation to eligible individuals and families across California. Our services are delivered by IRS-certified volunteers through trusted nonprofit programs. We help people file their taxes accurately and claim valuable tax credits, including the California Earned Income Tax Credit (CalEITC).

Opportunity details

Through the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, we offer no-cost tax preparation services to low- and moderate-income individuals and families. Volunteers are certified through the IRS as greeters, tax preparers, or advanced tax preparers after going through our comprehensive training program.

Volunteers may sign up for shifts across our 8+ regional sites that are active throughout tax season, or at any of our 60+ pop up events in SoCal.
