Mission

Mildrie’s Road Foundation Inc. exists to strengthen underserved children, families, and reentry populations across Los Angeles County through education, enrichment, disaster relief, and community stabilization. Named after our founder’s grandmother, who opened her own home to single mothers and children in need, our mission carries forward that same spirit: never turning away anyone in need. Through our House of Literacy program, we provide academic tutoring and daily resource support to K-5th grade students, while mobilizing disaster relief and building pathways toward housing stability, workforce readiness, and successful reentry for formerly incarcerated individuals in our community.
