Fall is traditionally when non-profit operations accelerate into high gear. As organizations race through end-of-year campaigns, year-end fundraising drives, and complex budget proposals for the coming year, rest quickly becomes a luxury. As a long-time fundraiser, I know firsthand how exhausting this final stretch can be—and I also recognize that the cycle of burn-out in our sector is often self-inflicted when we operate in silos.
A Love Letter to Nonprofits
The Partnership Program is our love letter to the social impact space. But more than offering warm thoughts or motivational words, we are actively constructing the community infrastructure that small shops need to break free from the non-stop sprint. Following our recent flagship summit, Partnership.LA, we were blown away by the energy, passion, and creative pitch sessions that filled every room. From deep-dive discussions on social capital to practical CRA compliance strategies, the summit proved just how powerful cross-sector collaboration can be when grassroots leaders, funders, and corporate partners come together under one roof.
As our core team reviews the invaluable survey feedback and insights shared during the summit sessions, we are excitedly preparing to launch a newly retooled iteration of the Partnership Program. Over the years, you may have heard a few different names for our initiatives—from Partnership.LA to the Partnership.LA Initiative, or simply “Partnership.” Moving forward, we want a unified brand identity at findpartnership.org that reflects our broader mission, cross-sectoral reach, and the vibrant community of change-makers we serve.
Building on Collaboration
All of our collaborative hubs and networking events will now live seamlessly under the unified Partnership Program banner. Under this structure, The Hive will continue serving as our digital networking platform, while Partnership.LA remains the official name of our premier summit. Beyond these established channels, we are preparing something truly transformational behind the scenes. While we can’t pull back the curtain on every detail just yet, make sure to keep your eyes on findpartnership.org—major announcements are scheduled to drop very soon!
What I can share is that we’ve taken over two years of platform analytics, summit attendee surveys, and extensive community feedback to re-engineer our programmatic structure. Embracing change can be daunting when you’ve poured endless energy into building existing systems, but our top priority is delivering maximum, long-term value to non-profits and local community partners. Get ready for a far more connected way to collaborate, leverage resources, and grow side by side.
What’s on the Horizon
Directly inspired by your summit feedback, our upcoming model will introduce several tailored, community-driven offerings:
- Local Networking Hubs: Informal gatherings and mixers in third spaces across the region, designed to facilitate organic relationship-building between non-profit leaders, business partners, and funders outside formal conference halls.
- Advisory Matching & Technical Assistance: Targeted programs pairing organizations with expert guidance across specialized fields—such as bookkeeping, marketing, human resources, and CRA compliance—helping non-profits strengthen core operations without inflating overhead.
- Collaborative Cost-Sharing Initiatives: Innovative resource-pooling projects that reduce unit costs on essential software licenses, event spaces, and professional services, ensuring equal access to tools that drive real impact.
We are holding off on sharing full membership access details for just a bit longer, but rest assured that these offerings are built directly around your operational needs.
